Actistem is a same-day procedure – how does it work?
ActiStem is a same-day treatment that is broken down into 3 main steps:
- Your veterinarian will sedate your pet and remove a small amount of adipose tissue (fat cells) which is typically 2-4 tablespoons
- The veterinarian will concentrate and activate the stem cells from your pet’s fat using Ardent’s proprietary technology
- The activated stem cells are then reintroduced back to the patient in the area(s) of need
What to expect with this treatment
Actistem is a same-day treatment with proprietary technology set up at our partner clinics. Once your veterinarian activates your pet’s stem cells they will be injected into areas of need.
